Crown Law 2030
On Thursday 24 September 2026, the Public Service Commission released its Performance Improvement Review of the Crown Law Office, commissioned by Solicitor-General Anna Adams KC.
The review, led by Debbie Francis and Michael Hodge, recognises the quality of Crown Law’s legal work, the depth of expertise across the Office and the commitment of our people. It also shows how we can make more of those strengths.
The Solicitor-General and Crown Law have published Crown Law 2030 Legal excellence in the service of government, the public, and the rule of law in response. This plan sets out our goals through to 2030 as well as the priorities for the next 12 months.
